VOLUNTEER TRAINING

Family and community members interested in volunteering should begin the volunteer process by visiting our FCPS Volunteer Webpage. Applicants will be directed to:

  1. Complete a registration form.
  2. Complete a training module on Unified Talent. 
  3. Await school approval on application.
  4. Sign-up for volunteer opportunities 

The volunteer registration and training process is completed annually for each school year. Volunteers must complete the process before being signed up for volunteer opportunities. FCPS encourages family and community members interested in volunteering to complete the process early as processing times can vary.

Sweet Thanks for Teachers
We love spoiling our amazing teachers and we want to send them home with a sweet treat for Thanksgiving!

Let’s show our amazing OES teachers and staff just how much sweet thanks we have for them! We’re hoping to send each staff member home with a baked treat to enjoy over their Fall Break — and we need your help to make it happen!

Please sign up for the number of treats you’re willing to bake or purchase. The staff has already shared their favorite treats, so we know exactly what will make them smile!
 

This year, we’ve added new treat categories — so please be sure to:

  • Package your treat securely (in a box or bag).

  • Label it clearly with the exact name of the treat.

  • This is very important for those who selected based on allergies.
